Everyone was nice there and the place was clean. I did love that my shake was suppose to be cake batter but takes like unseasoned milkshake. Also the wedges were way undercooked, I had to air fry them later. The castle burger also wasn't my favorite. It wasn't seasoned very well. I was hoping it was like before..

I had never been to Ernie’s before but we have visited a few times since they reopened. It appears to be similar in pricing to other Tastee Freeze/Dairy Hut type places so we weren’t bothered by cost. The mozz sticks and marinara were delicious and our family really likes the chili dogs, chicken tenders, and potato wedges (my husband says the wedges are very similar to the old ones). Not to mention, their staff is so incredibly nice. We’ll definitely be back!

Prices are absolutely insane! $4.50 for ONE chilli dog. $4.00 for one tamale. Wedges aren't the same and very expensive. No combo meals. You must purchase each item separately. 6 chilli dogs $22. I won't be coming back.

New owners just opened this back up the food is good. Not exactly the same menu but it's still delicious. The wedges were fresh and hot. The castle burger and chili dogs were a hit with my family. We got some ice cream too and everyone was happy. Prices are like any other ice cream and hot dog place in town.

The food was terrible that I received! The big thing about Ernie’s in the past was their Castle Burgers! I was excited that Ernie’s was back open as I really missed and wanted a Castle Burger! I have to say, I don’t know what I received but it definitely was not the Castle Burger that Ernie’s had been known for! I received what looked like pasted meat on a bun with cheese… just terrible! Definitely was not the Castle Burgers in the foil like wrapping, with the hot meat running over with American Cheese when you opened it! My “sandwich” not a Castle Burger was cold. Also the Potato Wedges had no flavor/seasoning to them, again definitely disappointing! Suffice to say, I will “NEVER” go back there for food. So sad such an Iconic place known for its food in the past, didn’t produce-😞 .
